Is going back to sport fit for me?
Being active doesn’t have to be about trying new things. Why not try going back to a sport you’ve enjoyed in the past? It could have been rounders at school or footie with the lads. If you used to do an activity that you enjoyed, it’s a great way to start being active again.
Is this suitable for me?
Even if you haven’t been active for a while, it’s a good feeling to get back into a sport you’ve enjoyed in the past. Just ease yourself in at a pace that’s comfortable for you and you’re sure to see your fitness levels rise in no time.

If you have a health condition or if you’re health has stopped you doing sport in a past, you might want to speak to your GP and get some advice before you start.

How do I start again?
If you’re not very active at the moment, it’s important not to push yourself too hard too quickly.
It’s tempting to try and pick up where you left off, but it’s much better to ease yourself back into it. Just visit your old club and give it a go.
